Founded in Bamako in 2003, Yeelen Olympique is a youth development club built around football, education and long-term player development.
From its training centre in Bamako to the highest levels of the game, Yeelen's ambition is to develop talented young players, build strong characters and create pathways to professional and international football.

Yeelen Olympique is founded in Bamako, Mali.
Inauguration of the Centre d'entraînement Yacouba Sangaré, named after one of Yeelen's founders.
Yeelen reaches the highest level of Malian football.
Yeelen qualifies for its first continental club competition.
Yeelen wins the U16 Next Generation Trophy in Salzburg, Austria.
Formed at Yeelen Olympique, Mamadou Sangaré is named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season and becomes the first Malian to win the Marc-Vivien Foé Award, recognising the best African player in Ligue 1.
